A la nouvelle installation d’un serveur Oracle 11g R1 ou R2, un beau message d’erreur apparait plusieurs fois : ORA-12638: credential retrieval failed tips. Voici comment corriger ce problème.
ORA-12638: credential retrieval failed tips
Un message d’erreur pas très explicite qui apparait avant la fin de l’installation de Oracle Database Release 1 (11.1.0.7.0) ou R2 (11.2.0.1.0) sur un Windows Server 2008, 32 ou 64 bits, R2 ou non.
La solution est en fait plutôt simple :
- Aller dans le dossier d’installation du logiciel Oracle
(par défaut, il s’agit de C:\app\administrateur\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN ) - Ouvrir le fichier sqlnet.ora avec notepad ou wordpad par exemple
- Chercher la ligne SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS)
- Remplacer par SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE)
- Le résultat équivaut donc à ceci :
